Ranger Bucks may be purchased using financial aid at the cashier’s office during the first 12 class days of the semester. Purchases are available in $25 increments and must be completed through the cashier’s office.

Questions Regarding Meal Plan?

What is a meal plan?

A meal plan provides students with a set number of meals and/or Ranger Bucks to use for dining on campus during the semester.

Who is required to have a meal plan?

All students living on campus are required to purchase a meal plan from the residential meal plan options.

Can students who do not live on campus purchase a meal plan?

Yes. Students who do not live on campus may choose from the available meal plan options, including commuter meal plans.

How long do students have to make changes to their meal plan?

Students have 12 business days from the start of the semester to make changes to their meal plan.

What are Ranger Bucks?

Ranger Bucks work like a debit card and can be used for beverages, snacks, or full meals on campus.

Can students add more Ranger Bucks?

Yes. Students can add additional Ranger Bucks to their card at any time.

Do unused Ranger Bucks roll over?

Unused Ranger Bucks roll over from the fall semester to the spring semester. At the end of the academic year, unused Ranger Bucks are non-refundable and do not roll over year-to-year.

How can students purchase Ranger Bucks?

Meal Plan Policies

  • On-campus students: All students living on campus are required to purchase a meal plan from the residential meal plan options.
  • Off-campus students: Students not living on campus can choose from all six meal plan offerings.
  • Change window: Students have 12 business days from the start of the semester to make changes to their meal plan.
  • Ranger Bucks rollover: Unused Ranger Bucks roll over from the fall semester to the spring semester, but do not roll over year-to-year.
  • Faculty and staff: Faculty and staff are encouraged to purchase The Socialite or The Light Eater commuter meal plan options.
